Fire Shutter Parts

North Valley Metal stock a range of Fire Shutter Parts designed for the traditional Manually Operated Fire Shutter. These include Mitre Gear Boxes, Hand Wheels, Ratchet Wheels, Mitre Gears & Pinions and Worm Gears.

• Worm Gears are available in Single Start, Two Start or Three Start options
• Mitre Gear Boxes are available in 1:1 or 2:1 Ratio's and Single Start, Two Start or Three Start options. Gear Boxes can be Straight Through, Right Handed or Left Handed and with One Way Two Way or Three Way Shaft options.
• Cast Handwheels are available with or without a Plastic Winding Handle. The Winding Handle is not essential as the Handwheel is designed with a rounded rim for easy grip.
• A range of Cast Shaft Support Brackets are available in 2 Hole, 3 Hole Clover Brackets or 4 Hole, in assorted Shaft diameter sizes.
• Rachet Wheels are available in two teeth sizes, either 12T or 33T and are manufactured from Cast Iron. Cast and Steel Pawls are also available to suit.

Manually Operated Fire Shutters are still used in locations where there is no power or the shutter has been in situ for a long time. NVM offers a range of component parts to enable repalcements and repairs to Manually Operated Fire Shutters without the need to replace the complete shutter. NVM Fire Shutter Parts also enable the installation of a Fire Certified Manually Operated Shutter to areas where there is no power.

All NVM Fire Shutter Parts for Manually Operated Fire Shutters are manufactured in either Cast Iron or Steel and are fully compliant with Fire Shutter regulations.

NVM also stock and supply Fire Shutter Motors and Panels, Fusible Links and Re-Settable Solenoids along with a wide range of Fire Exit devices.
