Isolators

A range of Isolators are available to suit various applications including Wicket Gates, Industrial Doors and Roller Shutters, Shop Fronts and Sectional Doors.

Isolators are designed to protect the Electric Motor by creating a breaker. A common problem in the industry, particularly with Shop Front Shutters, where the Bullet Locks are not removed from the Pin Lock Housing before the Shutter is operated. This causes the Tubular Motor, Direct Drive Motor or Flange Motor to run whilst the Door is still locked, and eventually burns out the motor, which would require replacing.

Any Shutter, Wicket Gate, Shop Front or Industrial Door fitted with an Isolator can not be operated until the Bullet Locks, Padlocks, Wicket Gates or other security device has been removed.
