NVM offer a comprehensive range of Tube Motors, Flange Motors, Fire Shutter Motors, Flange & Sectional Door Motors and Direct Drive Motors, all supported by an extensive range of Control Panels, Controller / Receivers, Group Commands, Remote and Access Control, Photocells & Light Barriers, Safety Edge Systems, Wall Switches, Rocker Switches, Key Switches, an array of Dummy Ends and Bobbins, Inertia Safety Brakes and Fire Safety.

Tubular Motors

NVM offer four different ranges of Tubular Motors from 45mm Ø to 92mm Ø Body sizes and in 20nm to 330nm ratings, all accompanied by a complete range of Crowns and Adaptors to suit all tube sizes. Motors are fitted with an internal brake and easily adjustable limits. All tube motors carry the CE and TUV marks and are manufactured using only quality parts including steel forged gears, heavy duty tube body and steel crowns.

Each pack includes Mounting Bracket, Crowns, Adaptors, Limit Switch Regulator and Rigid Eye depending on model.

Flange Mounted / In-Line & Fire Shutter Motors

NVM have developed a range of Flange Mount In-Line Motors and Flange Mount In-Line Motor Kits in both Single and 3 Phase supply. Kits are available in either drive chain or drive gear options and range from 300kg to 1400kg lift capacities. Drive chain kits include built-in chain brake device in case of chain failure, and hexagonal motor shaft for increased strength and reliability. Plate-wheels, Sprockets and Bearings are included and come pre-assembled on the endplate mounting.

Drive Gear kits are provided with a keyed motor shaft and include 48 or 66 tooth Drive Gear, Pinion with Keyway & Bearing, and are supplied pre-assembled on the endplate mounting.

All kits also include a 12mm thick steel Drive Adaptor, Dummy End Discs & Shaft to suit from 4", 5”, 5½”, 6” or 8" Ø tube and dummy Endplates pre-drilled to suit a 4 Hole Flange Bearing, which is also supplied.

Flange Motor Kits are available with a variety of Gearing Ratios using 36T, 45T or 60T Platewheels and a 9T Sprocket. 4:1 Ratio Kits give an output speed of up to 10 RPM.

We also offer a 600kg Fire Shutter Motor, that functions with a Solenoid Interface and Controlled Descent. All Flange Mount In-Line Motors can be reversed handing, Deadman on /off with options for Impulse Up / Deadman Down, and will accept Photocells, Safety Edge and Remote Control.

Direct Drive Motors

Direct Drive (Hollow Shaft) Motors are vailable from 140nm to 1400nm, in both Mechanical or Electronic Digital Limit options. All motors are supplied pre-wired and have Manual Over-ride and Low Level Haul Chain with shaft sizes from 30mm to 100mm diameter.

Direct Drives can be sold as motor only, complete kit or any option in between. Our kit offer consists of Endplates, Foot-mount Plate, Shafts, Flange Bearings, Discs and all Fixings. The Control Panel is pre-wired and fitted with a 3 phase plug.

Sectional Door Motors

Sectional Door Motors are available from 80nm to 150nm with speeds of 20 – 28 rpm. The motors can be supplied with 3 options of Manual Override: a) Cable, b) Chain, C) Crank Handle. Mechanical or Electronic Digital Limit options are also available and shaft sizes of 25.4mm or 31.75mm. 70nm - 120nm Motors are available in Single Phase. Control Panels will accept Photocells, Safety Edges and Deadman / Impulse functions. Built-on Starter or Separate Starter options are also available on selected models from stock.

Flange Motors

NVM offer Drive Adaptors for Flange motors. Flange motors can be supplied as kits including Sprocket & Platewheel, or Drive Gear & Pinion. Our standard ratio is 3:1 giving our 150nm Motor 450nm Torque Force @ 8 rpm

Flange Motors can be supplied in Single Phase 220/240v Ac or 380/415v 3 Phase supply and with either Built-on Starter & 3 Button Station or Separate Starter options. A range of functionality includes Safety Edge, Photocell & Light Barrier, Remote Control and Manual Switch all in Low Voltage.

High Speed Door Motors:

Our HSD range is available from 45nm to 350nm and speeds from 95rpm to 135rpm. Shaft sizes range from 25mm to 40mm, with inverter for soft stop, soft start operation as an optional extra if used with our NDC131 Control Panel. Manual Override using a Crank Handle is fitted to all motors as is the integrated anti-fall back device, brake and fixing bracket, with Digital Limits or Mechanical Limit versions also available with or without inverters.

Inertia Safety Brakes, Lost Bobbins & Dummy Ends

NVM offer a complete range of external re-settable Inertia Safety Brakes meeting all current safety legislation. Brakes can be supplied for a weight capacity of 80kg, 120kg, 500kg, 700kg and 1000kg and with shaft sizes from 18mm to 50mm Ø. Mounting plates and brackets can also be supplied. A complete range of shafts and discs to suit 4”, 5”, 5 ½”, 6” and 8” Ø Tube are available from stock to suit a range of wall thicknesses whilst the 18mm Square Brake range is also available with 60mm & 70mm Octagonal and 65mm & 89mm Deprat Shaft & Disc Sets. These sets include Locking Collar and Safety Saddle.

All brakes can be fitted with cut out switch to prevent damage the motor should the safety Brake engage. NVM Strongly recommend that every Inertia Safety Brake installed is fitted with the appropriate Micro-Switch cut Out, to prevent damage to the Electrical Operator and Door by cutting the power in the event of the brake engaging.

All safety brakes are manufactured to CE Quality and carry CE and TUV marks. In addition to Inertia Safety Brakes, NVM also offer an extensive range of Dummy Ends, Idlers and Lost Bobbins. Lost Bobbins are available for 4” and 5” Ø Tube and supplied complete with Bearings and Fixing Bracket. Dummy Ends are available in a range of options including Cast, Pressed Steel, Aluminium, Plastic or Mild Steel to suit a range of tube sizes including Octagonal, Deprat, SWS and Round. In addition to our stocked range of Lost Bobbins and Dummy Ends, NVM can manufacture any customer own requirement. All Lost Bobbins and Dummy Ends can be supplied with a Certificate of Conformity.
