All High Speed Doors supplied by NVM are fitted with an EN12445 compliant Sequential Light Barrier as standard. This includes all Rapid Roll and High Speed Fold Up Doors. The Light Barrier, supplied with an Encoder, is fully Monitored & fully Self-Testing, making an NVM High Speed Door one of the safest on the market.
Light Barriers are pre-installed and enclosed in an anodised aluminium housing offering greater protection against impact damage. An IP67 Rating and Operating Temperature range from -40ºc to + 60ºc means our High Speed Door Light Barrier can cope with anything the British weather can throw at it.
Functioning to a height of 2500mm the NVM HSD Light Barrier ensures protection to both Pedestrian and Vehicle Traffic alike whilst its 90m/s reaction time means it can function safely on doors travelling up to 1.6 metres / second.
